A group called Legacy Incorporated (LINC) in the Ashanti Region have donated items worth hundreds of cedis to the Ashan Children’s Home at Aboffo, off offinso road, ahead of this Christmas festivity.
Items donated include, bags of rice, toiletries, cooking oil, clothes, can and bottled drinks and many more.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Master Osborn Opoku Safo K., the chairman emphasized charity is essential and therefore should be done for publicity benefit, relief and to provide assistance to people at times of need in any part of the world, especially people in Charity home during seasons like this.
Receiving the items on behalf of the asylum, Nana Boafour Konadu Yiadom, the ‘Maawerehene’ of Otumfour Osei Tutu II, and the CEO of Ashan Children’s Home expressed his gratitude to the group and emphasized on how excited he is to have seen a group of young men and women serving humanity.
Nana Boafour further encouraged the group to continue with their good works though it is not easy to embark on charity works as fresh graduates.
He further said the group should not let this move be the last of it kind but should continue visiting other charity homes to show them love.
Legacy Incorporated is noted for embarking on interventional programs in societies, the latest been the donation of Educational materials and Hepatitis B screening for students at Juaben Presbyterian Junior High School in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
